COVID-19: What You Need to Know Before You Visit
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have instituted a number of changes to our operation and put new policies in place. Please review the following information to assist you in your visit.
Policies are Subject to Change – and Will as the Summer Progresses
As the summer progresses, some COVID restrictions may be eased or eliminated by the state of New York. Seabreeze will be in compliance, and will make adjustments to our policies as we gain approval from local health officials.
Some Changes in our Operations this Summer
Admission Tickets & Passports. In order to minimize contact between guests and park staff, the use of wristbands has been eliminated. Therefore, all ticket types now include access to rides & slides. Spectator Passes are not available this summer. Free Senior Citizens Mondays are no longer offered, but a new Senior Citizen Pass is now available. Night Rider Passes are not offered. Please see our Admission Rates page for more details on one-day tickets.
Operating Hours. Please be aware that Seabreeze has reduced operating hours this summer. The park rides are open from 11am to 9pm daily, and the waterpark is open from 11am to 7pm. Hours vary in the springtime and fall, and all hours are subject to change. Please see our Park Hours calendar.
Cirque Show. Our Cirque enVol acrobats will not be performing this summer. This is due to NYS regulations regarding density & social distancing, which limits our ability to seat an audience at the Center Stage.
COVID-19 Safety Measures – You Play a Vital Role
You play a vital role in helping us ensure a safe visit for all guests and staff. We ask that you follow all posted and verbal instructions during your visit at the park. These include: visiting the park only if you are healthy; wearing face coverings if you are not vaccinated; maintaining social distancing; keeping your hands clean; and respecting other guests and staff. For more details, see the information below.
Assumption of Risk
Exposure to COVID-19 is an inherent risk in any public location where people are present; we cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit. By coming to the park, you acknowledge and agree that you assume these inherent risks, and will follow all rules. Thank you for your cooperation.
Advance Tickets Required
In order to reduce density at the park for social distancing purposes, you must purchase your tickets to Seabreeze on our website in advance of your visit. All tickets are date-specific, and certain days sell out faster than others. One day tickets are available 2 weeks ahead, so get your tickets early. Please note: no tickets are on sale at the park.
Passport holders are NOT required to make reservations prior to coming to the park. Just bring your Passport ticket (on your first visit) or your Passport ID card to the gate to be admitted.
All guests should be prepared to confirm the following health information in order to enter the park. If you cannot, you and your party should not enter the park.
- You are not feeling sick or experiencing flu-like symptoms such as: cough or sore throat; shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; fever (>100.4) or chills; muscle pain; new loss of taste or smell; gastrointestinal symptoms.
- You have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days and are not under any self-quarantine orders.
- You have not been in contact with someone known or suspected to have symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
Face Coverings Required
Fully vaccinated guests do not need to wear a mask while at the park.
Those who are not vaccinated are required to wear an acceptable face covering while at the park, including children. Exceptions:
- Children ages 2 years and younger are not required to wear a mask.
- Those who cannot medically tolerate the wearing of a face covering are exempt.
- Anyone who is temporarily eating or drinking while seated in a designated & socially distanced area can remove their mask.
- Face coverings cannot be worn on any slide or water attraction. In the waterpark, masks may be removed while transiting to and from an attraction, while waiting in socially distanced queue lines, or while seated socially distanced.
Maintain Social Distancing
Social distancing is required at Seabreeze. All queue lines have markers to indicate where to stand. Park benches, tables and chairs have been rearranged to help accommodate for distancing. You will also notice that some ride vehicles have been blocked off; this will ensure proper distancing.
Please follow all rules regarding social distancing.
Keeping it Clean
Seabreeze is providing enhanced park-wide cleaning protocols. Over sixty hand sanitation stations have been installed, and all park restrooms allow for frequent hand washing. Clean teams are on hand to wipe down areas such as tables, chairs and park benches. Touch points on ride vehicles are sanitized throughout the day, and shields have been installed at various point of sale locations in order to minimize contact. Please help us keep it clean by washing your hands and using sanitizers frequently.
