Dear Friends of Seabreeze,
We greatly appreciate those who have connected with us to ask about the upcoming 2020 season. The Seabreeze team has been busy during the off-season, preparing for the upcoming summer. Yet now we’re experiencing the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis alongside our community and the world. Our hearts go out to those directly impacted by the virus, their families and all those separated from loved ones right now. And many thanks to those who are working today to help us weather the storm.
Even in times of great uncertainty, Western New York proves time and again that we are truly a united community. We couldn’t be more proud to have served our neighbors for over a century. When all this passes, the Seabreeze team will be ready and eager to welcome you to the park for the Summer of 2020!

- When will the park open this year?
As of this time, an opening date for our season has not yet been set. It’s unclear when we will be allowed to open.
We appreciate the governor’s measured plan to gradually and safely reopen New York, and understand his phased approach to REIMAGINE NY. We recognize that we fall into Phase 4, along with others in the sectors of arts, entertainment & recreation, and will continue to work with state and local officials to determine our opening date.
- Are you accepting applications for summer jobs?
Yes, the hiring process has begun, and will run through May 23. If you would like to apply for a job, please click here to be redirected to our Summer Jobs page. You’ll learn more about our new online application and interviewing process.
- What do I do if I have a planned group reservation?
Group leaders don’t need to take any action. All reservations are in place for the 2020 season. If you would like to discuss an existing group reservation, please contact the Group Sales Department at email@example.com
If you belong to a group that plans to have an event at the park this summer, check with your group leader for more information as the date gets closer.
- Are my 2020 Passports and One-Day tickets still valid?
Absolutely! Passport holders will receive all of their visits and bonus items. One-day tickets will be fully honored, too. Once we find out when we will be able to open the park, we’ll make any adjustments needed for current holders of season passports & one-day tickets as soon as possible, based on more timely information. We want to do the best for all of our loyal guests!
- What will be done about guest health and safety this summer?
The health & safety of our guests, and our staff, continues to be our #1 priority.
We will have a fully developed safety plan in place prior to opening. As we develop this re-opening plan, our team is reviewing best practices being developed around the world, through our network of parks and the global industry association IAAPA.
When the time comes, you can rest assured that we will be fully compliant with established CDC and New York State guidelines, including solutions such as sanitization, social distancing, use of masks and more. We will work diligently to provide a safe, fun-filled experience for both our guests and our family of employees.
