gates are working well, the Cirque enVol show is amazing, and our Passport

Radio
station 98PXY appears on Wednesday nights in July, bringing great
music, fun games, prizes and more. Join DJ Megan Carter (at
left, with 98PXY staffers) for one more night on July 29, 7pm - 9pm.
Then in August, it's WBEE's Terry Clifford at the park from 4pm to
6pm on Thursday August 6 & 13 for more music and fun stuff. Come
check it out and say hi!

Did you
know last year our games and arcade gave out 66,972 stuffed animals and
118,752 novelty items? That includes 2,304 whoopie cushions, which
of course sold out. Guests consumed 83,640 Zweigle's hot dogs,
27,288 fried doughs, and 95,387 hamburgers. Oh, and it took 3,960 eggs
to make the batter for our famous Sugar Waffles. The recipe is a
secret, so don't ask!

Seabreeze Park
Family - The Longs Have Legs

Amusement
park historian Jim Futrell is doing an article for FunWorld
magazine about family- owned parks. According to Futrell, records
indicate that the family which operates Seabreeze (pictured
above: members of the Hofsass, Norris and Wells families, 5th & 6th
generation of the Long family, which first built carousels in 1872)
has the longest tenure in the amusement business in the US. And
Seabreeze is recognized as the oldest family-owned amusement park in
the world. History in your own back yard!
